2 Singles and SXSW

Hey there -

Occurred to us we hadn't checked in with the ole website in a while. Here's some recent things we've been proud of.

The Austin Chronicle premiered our song "Sloop"

OVRLD premiered our song "The Wheel"

We had a couple bad ass free week shows thanks to Peach Fuzz Magazine and Do512. Photo credit David Brendan Hall for the Austin Chronicle.

We were announced as an official SXSW band for the first time ever.

We went into the studio with Adam Mason at Good Danny's in Lockhart, TX and began working on our next record.

Cheers yall and thanks for sticking with us. 2018 is gonna be our best year yet (we think).

Hi There

We've been somewhat hibernating since SXSW. Michael got shot and subsequently we ended up on every music website we've ever lusted after. Now we just have to get them to care about our songs.

We finished 2 singles which will soon be mixed, mastered and released this summer. They were engineered and produced by Carey McGraw. The goal is to have a record done by the end of the year.

We'll be back on the road again soon as well. Thank you to everyone who continues to care about our band and the music we make. Looking forward to releasing new material in 2017 because lord knows Sara cannot play Best Laid Plans for much longer or she's gonna LOSE IT.

Halloween House Party Bananza

Super excited to announce we're officially in preproduction for our next record. We've worked our asses off all year playing tons of shows in Texas, some of the biggest we've had yet as a band.

We only have 4 shows left in 2016! We won't be doing a kickstarter or gofundme so the best way you can support us locally is by coming out to our shows AND COME PARTY WITH US ON HALLOWEEN!

We're throwing a good ole fashioned house party as a fundraiser for upcoming studio time. October 29th at a private residence on the east side. Details posted on the facebook event. We'll be taking donations at the door but after that the party is FREE. We've got some great drink sponsors lined up as well as your classic halloween activities.

Don't live in Austin but want to contribute to the record? Send us an email at contact@lowinband.com for some suggestions!

Music Video Premiere on She Shreds

Delighted to finally share our music video for "Say Say" via one of our favorite publications, She Shreds. "Say Say" was recorded in Austin, TX at Sounds Outrageous with Lars Goransson at the helm. The video was shot and directed by Kate Blaising, edited by Kelly Webster, and styled by Jazz Mills' Top Girl Productions

This is our first single release since our Royal Jelly EP in 2015. We'll release a few more singles throughout the year and plan to have a new EP ready by January 2017. You can stream and purchase "Say Say" on Bandcamp

Help us flood the interwebs with our video! Sharing is caring. Thank you all for the continued love and support. Stay tuned for our summer plans.

We have an exciting few months ahead of us! We'll be showing our upcoming music video for "Say Say" April 25th at the Austin Music Video Festival night at Empire Control Room. Then we'll be hosting a good old fashioned house party April 29th to celebrate the rad people (Kate Blaising, Kelly Webster, Jazz Mills) who made the music video happen.

May 8th we'll be playing Pecan Street Festival's Red River Stage alongside homies Bantam Foxes, Hikes, and many more.

Also excited to announce we'll be playing Float Fest in San Marcos this year July 16th! More summer dates coming! Cheers!
